How far are you willing to go to help your team win? Well, it turns out many of us will go to extremes to bring good luck. 65% of us in fact. That’s according to our survey for Hooters.

1 in 10 American sports fans keep things simple by cracking out their lucky pants ….their dirty lucky pants!

Other rituals included making sure to eat the same things before each game and watching the even lying down. And it must work for some with more than one in six feeling like they’ve brought their team luck.

The survey found that sadly not everyone exudes good karma. 10% feel like they are bringers of bad luck. One in seven feels their negative vibes are so strong that they opt to miss the game altogether to avoid  any mishaps.

But what about those times when you’re watching and things take a downward slide halfway through? Well, don’t worry! People have got those situations covered too. 58% of the 2,000 Americans have taken measures during the game to turn this around including having sex in front of the TV!

Sex isn’t always the wisest thing to do though with 9% avoiding it the night before, just in case. What a bunch of romantics!
